short but very hot read...but lies and omissions are not good people, they always comes back to bite you in the ass.Here is my synopsis - the city girl (Stella) is in the country on business, has a weekend fling with a cowboy (JD) who turns out to be the grandson of the person she pitched a business proposal to, which of course he does not mention (and she finds out before he can tell her)said grandfather then tells city girl she will get the account if she convinces grandson to take over the business sooner rather than later. They both realize they are falling for each other but how can it work, later that night she does not let him stay with her in attempt to distance herself. He comes to her hotel baning on the door to take her somewhere, turns out to be his grandfathers place where he had been previously to tell his grandfather he would take over, grandfather makes a comment to Stella about how fast she works...JD thinks he was played and storms off....Stella leaves, then leaves Montana and JD realizes he was an ass. Grandfather steps up to try to get them back together and all is right with the world again.

I have read other things by Ms. McKade and have like them, but this one I could not finish. I felt it was simplistic and boring.
Does Mackenzie McKade have it in her to write a bad book. I think not. Great read yet again. Thanks.
I love that this book brings two worlds together and that ultimately you need to follow your heart no matter what! And always listen to your heart!
The guy is cute. The gal is wooden. The bad guy is unbelievable. The plot is ultra contrived. The sex is pretty good
I just finished this (actually, my rating is 3.5 stars) and felt that it was a good story. The problem is that it ended with two weeks in Montana still to go! But given that it's an erotic romance - and yes, there was lots of well-detailed sex - those two weeks would probably be spent doing the same thing. This author is probably wasted on erotic books - she does a good job of writing the background story.
This book has two of my favorite things; a hot cowboy and hot-sex with that hot cowboy. If you have ever read anything by Mackenzie McKade then you know what to expect. If you haven't read everything by this author...what are you waiting for? She is on my must have list.
Both characters in this story were well established, especially since it was a short story. I got just enough information to pull me into the story. The interaction between these characters was well written, as always. There was a lot of heart in this romance. It is another great story.
I could not stop reading this book..If you like sexy cowboys and hot and steamy sex, then this is the book for you. JD and Stella are two great characters..The chemistry between them is instant and bonding. The story is well written with well written intimacy..Not trashy at all. I could easily visualize all the scenes in my mind. The fishing with the boys, the bar scene with them dancing, and JD and Stella lying under the Montana sky. The only reason I gave it 4 out of 5 stars is the ending. There should have been more about them during the two weeks ahead. or possibly an epilogue with some closure. I don't like it when you are reading such a fantastic story and it abruptly ends..I wanted more..
